Cake4Kindness Day

21st November 2024, will mark our 2nd Cake4Kindness Day and this year we plan to expand the event and we invite you to join us.

Cake4Kindness Day 2024 will be a day to come together and bake in your community, with friends, family, work colleagues and through kindness share those bakes with local homeless charities (or a charity of your choice) and build local relationships whilst helping to create a more inclusive, kinder and supportive community.

Ideas to get you started

Bake together

  • Come together as friends/family, work colleagues in the office, residents in your care home, schools, and bake cakes, or enjoy the time to decorate them, whilst learning a new skill, whilst talking and engaging with each other.

  • Connect with a local homeless charity (or other charity), tell them what you are doing and how many cakes you would look to donate to them.

  • Through Kindness, donate these cakes

  • Share on your social media platforms, with a picture and tagging in Cake4Kindness and encourage others to join you.

Hold a cake and coffee morning

Whether it’s at school, work or in your community, why not get together for cake and coffee, and ask for a small donation for those who attend. It’s a great way to stay connected and catch-up, whilst raising vital funds. Hosting in the workplace? You could even ask your employer to march any funds raised.

Host a bake sale

If you’re a whiz with a whisk, try your hand at baking a selection of cakes for a bake sale! Let your friends know the date and ask them to pop along to buy one of your expert bakes.

What ever you choose to do, be sure to tell us about it and tag our social media platforms
